We had the good fortune of meeting Patti Eastman at the beginning of our house search when she showed us one of her listings. We didn’t have an agent at the time, and weren’t quite convinced we needed one. But we were immediately drawn to Patti’s easy going nature, and when she offered to take us out to a couple listings, we took her up on it. That was the beginning of our long journey together. She stayed right with us for the next nine months, through numerous changes of heart and dozens and dozens of showings. Without Patti’s steadfast, positive and enlightened encouragement, we might never have ended up finding our house-- a home we can love for a lifetime.

Our experience in working with Patti Eastman has been nothing less than spectacular. We had started looking for a new home more than a year ago and met Patti when she walked us through a house we were interested in. We were instantly impressed with and drawn to her outgoing personality and professionalism. As we started to work with her regularly, it was very clear that she had listened to our wants and needs in a new home and could see that she understood our style and taste with the potential homes she presented to us.

After coming very close to putting a bid in on a home and deciding it was not the “right one” for us, medical issues caused us to put our house search on hold indefinitely. During the next several months Patti kept in contact with us, however it was not with new homes to look at or housing market information, it was genuine concern for our well being, just letting us know she was thinking of us during a difficult time. When we determined that we were ready to begin looking for a home once again, we immediately contacted Patti and were excited to work with her and see her again.

The home we did ended up buying (that we are absolutely thrilled with) can be attributed 100% to Patti’s hard work. Knowing exactly what we were looking for, she knew we’d love this home and got us in for a showing the day it went on the market. We made an offer the next day and within another, it was ours. We then asked her to help us put our home up for sale. Patti’s outstanding knowledge of the market (especially given the time of year and market conditions) helped us sell our house quickly and get a price we were happy with. During the entire buying and selling process, Patti kept us up-to-date on where things stood, what needed to happen next and displayed her excitement for us in the purchase of our new home. She was with us each step of the way and always available when we had questions.

Even now, after we have made the move into our new place and closed on our old house, we still keep in contact with Patti as we don’t regard her as “our real estate agent,” she is a friend. We will definitely be recommending Patti to our friends and family as they look for homes in the Twin Cities.

Working with Patti was a wonderful experience and one we would gladly do again in the future.
